What does it mean to reinterpret a masterpiece? How to remain true to the original conception while addressing current needs of the new owners?
We’ve decided to answer by considering architecture and interior design has a whole, with a simple and clear idea: a balanced conversation between concrete and wood.
Combinations of materials, play of textures, light and greenery are our tools to express life. Talented artisans are key to a successful built result.
Working in a close relationship with the architects, moving from the interior to the exterior, the barrier between indoor and outdoor is blurred.
Acting as an additional room to the house, the garden is magnified: plants are chosen to bring poetics and perfumes, sound of the water is delivered by the fountain.
In the inside, a warm inner ribbon of insulation and a carefully detailed oak cabinetry is added in response to the exposed, and completely refreshed, concrete.
Every detail is designed to be efficient and choices are driven in consideration of comfort and pleasant tactility for the user.
A search for timelessness. An exploration of the right scale
